Woman's Clubs
The Westchester County Federation of Women's Clubs was founded in 1921.
Objectives: Stimulate the interest and influence of women's clubs in Westchester County; promote community welfare in Westchester County in Civic, Legislative, Educational, Philanthropic, Moral and Cultural Matters.
Activities: The16 member clubs focus on Safety in Schools, Activities for Children and assisting an ever-growing Senior Population in our community. Federation supports brave men and women serving throughout the world. Over seventy years ago Federation began giving scholarships to Westchester Community College students. These scholarships are awarded to female students and are based on need.
In 2019 and 2020, during the Covid Pandemic, Federation gave 4 scholarships. In 2021 and 2022 Federation gave 6 scholarships! In 2023 Federation gave 8 $1,200 scholarships! In 2024 and 2025 Federation gave 9 $1,000 scholarships.
Federation scholarships enable students to remain in school and earn their degrees.
